IN 2004 we invite the world to come to St. Louis and set out on a personal journey of discovery.

Confluence 2004 is an immersion in the exhilarating currents of calligraphy, lettering and the book arts, held July 24-31, 2004, in Edwardsville, Illinois near the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers.

Confluence 2004 brings together lettering artists from all parts of the globe for a week of teaching, learning, sharing, viewing, conversing, exploring and creating. Whether you are new to calligraphy, a professional lettering artist, a book artist or a fine artist using letters, you will find a welcome landing at Confluence 2004.
